VS Code AI coding extension — pick the OpenAI Compatible provider.
Steps
- Install Cline from the VS Code marketplace.
- Open its settings and set API Provider to OpenAI Compatible.
- Fill in:

| Model ID | a model ID from the Model Plaza, case-sensitive |
- Save and start a new task.
Cline sends whole files as context by default. On large repositories, cap the number of auto-read files in settings to control token spend per call.
